GQ029 – Kickin’ with the Oldies – Reprise

Didn’t like what I saw yesterday, so (as promised) I repeated yesterdays Geri workout. Today’s focus was on setting up a good body position for each move. When I tried to keep my “hidden feet” parallel, many of the kicks felt better. It seemed like the forward-facing feet got my hips aligned better. However, for the two 180 (revolving door) spins near the beginning, parallel feet made my knees hurt. Ouch!

This is probably not much fun for you to watch – but I really want to see it…

Unfortunately, my parallel hidden feet aren’t as parallel as they felt. I guess I need to actually look at them to get them aligned and to learn the feel. Well, I’m not going to redo this workout again tomorrow – but I do now need to focus on straightening out my hidden foot as well as continued focus on my thumbs and butt-tightening.

Oh the things I’ve found!

Till next time – I seek peace,
